It's not like I think this novel is bad or anything, I am just not into "first POVS"
I personally prefer "third POV" and "third person omniscient", because I don't like reading stories that are like diaries or autobiographies..
Don't mind me, I am just frustrated and exhausted looking for novels to my liking.😵😔
I am only stating my preference, not forcing it on anybody.
Aside from my own minor qualms with the art style, it's undeniably unique in its own right. The artist cleverly alters facial styles slightly to depict aging, despite the story spanning only about five years (from age 19 to roughly 24). That’s a fresh approach, and I genuinely appreciated this attention to detail.
The characters are believable, and the mangaka has an excellent sense of timing when it comes to injecting comedic relief, even during serious moments. This not only enhances the story but also helps develop the personalities of the characters further.
The pacing of the narrative skillfully balances predictability—or rather, "unpredictability." Readers remain unsure of the final outcome until the very end, unlike many shoujo manga that heavily foreshadow due to unoriginal plots. The originality of the storyline contributes significantly to its unpredictability and overall enjoyment.
If I were to point out any flaws, they would pertain to the ending. While the story concludes neatly and at a suitable moment, one can't help but wish the mangaka had put a bit more effort into exploring the aftermath of the heroine's actions (or perhaps included an additional omake). Still, as it stands, the conclusion is satisfying and leaves room for potential sequels. (If you're unclear on what I mean, reading the entire manga will clarify—it feels like a recurring issue mentioned throughout is somewhat overlooked by the end.)
