Iori—the seme—looks feminine and happens to be a cross-dresser, which somehow diminishes his supposed attractiveness due to how uninspired his character is. As for the uke, Naoto, he's incredibly irritating. Like so many other overused manga tropes, he refuses to acknowledge his feelings for the other person until the very end. He comes across as weak-willed, and despite being in the same grade and class as Iori, his childish appearance gives the manga an unsettling shota-like vibe. To put it nicely, he looks like a 9-year-old!
If you're someone who craves steamy yaoi scenes in every chapter and don't mind a lack of plot development, then "April 4" might suit your taste.
However, if you, like me, find casual sex scenes bothersome when they overshadow a story that makes absolutely no sense, take my advice and skip this one. Instead, try reading a yaoi manga that I recommend...
