My first review! *A* This Manga is truly adorable and romantic, and I highly recommend it to all Shoujo fans who haven't read it yet. The storyline is carefully crafted. The characters are beautifully illustrated in a cute style, although they aren't too distinct from those in other Shoujo Mangas. It's about a girl who just wants to have fun and encourages the boys in her class to enjoy their time at school every day. Despite this, I really enjoyed the Manga, so I'm giving it a 10. =3

Alright, time for a review of "Rockin' Heaven."
Overall, I did enjoy this manga. There were moments in the story where I just wanted to scream, cry, and sometimes even laugh. However, it was rather predictable (though, let's be honest, most manga in this genre is). The story was cute overall, but I felt like it was lacking something. Maybe it was the characters, or maybe it was the clichés that kept popping up repeatedly (but hey, it's shoujo manga, so what can you do? :3)

The art was cute; the main characters were all very adorable. I loved how the mangaka would change Sawa's hairstyle every now and then—it added a nice touch.

As for the characters, they again seemed a bit cliché to me. Sawa is your ever-so-happy main character, while Ran is the brooding and rude love interest. In terms of character development, most of it seemed to focus on Sawa's best friend. Sawa herself stayed pretty much the same throughout, and while Ran did change somewhat, it wasn't until the very end that he really transformed into a "new man." On the bright side, most of the side characters who were part of the main group did get their moment to shine, which was nice.

So, while I enjoyed the manga overall, I was left feeling a little unsatisfied at the end. I liked it while reading, but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I'm just tired of the heroine always forgiving the rude main love interest, or maybe it's because there are always people who are in love with the other characters, but in this manga, most of them didn't really try all that hard.

Let's just say the best part of this story for me was Sawa's parents' love story.

Still, if you're looking for a typical shoujo manga with a happy ending and a cliché plot, this one fits the bill. (And no, that wasn't sarcasm—sometimes a cliché plot is exactly what you need, right?)

Well, Rockin Heaven was an excellent shoujo manga to dive into. It's truly a pity that some characters, like Kido, weren't given more story development...

For the story, I'd give it an 8. The plot wasn't overly complex, yet it was thoroughly enjoyable.
Art gets a 10 from me—I absolutely adored the art style, especially those big, expressive eyes. They're just my thing!
Characters also earn an 8. The protagonists had compelling personalities, but I felt Ran came off as too weak and spoiled.

Enjoyment? Another 8. Honestly, I had a fantastic time reading this manga—I have a real soft spot for shoujo stories.

So, let's just get this over with.

    Plot 1
I’ll make this as brief as possible—I’m so exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open. So, there’s a girl. There’s a high school. There’s a mean boy in that school whom the girl initially doesn’t like. Then, she realizes her romantic feelings for him. They start dating. And then... they break up due to the most hilariously ridiculous reason ever: the girl takes care of her boyfriend, leading people to comment things like, "Don’t they look like mother and son?" Yeah, so they break up... only to get back together again and eventually get married. (P.S., the girl’s best friend marries the boy’s best friend.) Oh my goodness, isn’t this the most unpredictable and completely original plot we’ve never seen or read before? UGH, I’m too tired to even be properly sarcastic. Anyway, it’s an AMAZING plot—it’s like every cliché-filled manga from Japan rolled into one. Read this, and you’ll never have to waste your time on another shoujo again.

    Art 6
All the boys look identical. Coincidentally, they're all hot. All the girls are cutesy, cuddly, adorable little angels. Most people go "awww," while I go "ew." It kind of reminds me of Twilight because both authors try their hardest to make the characters as beautiful as humanly possible. Okay, I’ll stop ranting—the art was decent, but my hatred for the manga made me hate the art too.

    Character 1
You think you've seen clueless, idiotic girls before? You haven’t seen anything until you read this. The guy, whatever his name is, functions like a computer:
    a) eat
    b) sleep
    c) breathe
The computer might be new and cool, but it’s still boring no matter how attractive it may seem.

    Enjoyment 1
Enjoyment? What enjoyment? Are you kidding me?

    Overall
    One

Recommendations to people who want their brains to be **** *** (I don’t usually swear at all, but it’s really hard to resist this time).

    Well, I’m off to bed.
    Goodbye and good riddance.
