The Magus Era

Was a free reader until about three months ago. Stuff happened, didn't have time to read (got up to chapter 1600 or so). Came back, suddenly, BAM! paywall.
Ruined the whole experience.
Would not recommend due to 90% of the story being locked away.

very good read and fast translation. fast character progression. very good story. Dont hestitate to start reading this book. You will really enjoy it.

Not much character development or structure. I very rarely drop web novels that I start, but I can't force myself to continue this story. The MC lacks depth (which is easy to impart in a reincarnation genre), and all the character act like kids without common sense.

For those of you who came here expecting magi and spells and magic fights, begone. For you shall be fucking disappointed! It is titled magus era but there are no traces of magi except for the number of times "magus" "grand magus" is mentioned. The fights are more of a body cultivator with a few support spells cast. Nothing like how a magus fights. Disappointed.
  And don't you ****ers say i didn't give it a shot! I did. But it was so bad i had to drop it. I even tried picking it up again. Even then it was still so bad i dropped it again. ugh.

Good story, but ruined by the translation.
They got all the measurement wrong!
I have seen it before already but this makes the story almost unreadable.
For example: Chapter 81
RAW:  "有一丈八尺长,足足有她四个身高"
FACTS: 一丈八尺 = 6 METER! 四个身高 = 4 times her height.
TRANSLATION: eighty-foot-long, thirty times taller than the girl
THIS IS NOT TRANSLATION! This is translator ruining the story. TRANSLATION IS TERRIBLE!!! I have seen it multiple times, All the translated measurement are all wrong!!! all exaggerated, when in raw it seems normal.

Ok, so the thing u have to understand about this novel is that the first 20 chapters suck balls. Yes, yes i know, why a 4? because the rest a quite good, some even excellent. The real reason the start is so bad is due to the lack of any back story, character building or world building; u basically know nothing except for the fact that the MC reincarnated, and he was a super strong dude b4 that, THE END. After that however the action, the plot and all the characters get better, more complex. All and all, if u can survive the boredom of the first few dozen chapters, ull find is a great read.

Don’t bother reading unless your willing to pay a sh*t ton of SS. This story is 1900 chapters completed yet it’s premium from about 200 chapters in. Good story just don’t start because you won’t finish it.

How this story got so many great reviews I have no clue. Seem to be from alot of persons that are reading for the first time. This is utter rubbish so far. Read to 150 and it has been the worst novel I have ever read. The mc is suppose to be reincarnated from an ***** yet still acts like he actually is 10 which annoys the hell out of me. The author sometimes I feel has no clue what he is writing. Like in a couple chapters he makes this guy seem super strong that even mc actually hopes to be as strong as someday. The next chapter he dies to a weakling the mc already beat the crap out of. Tell me how on God's green earth does that make fuuucking sense.

I just cannot understand why they would effectively make the novel unreadable after finishing it... No one is going to spend $1000+ to read this and this is just pushing people to pirate sites instead of supporting the site.
