it's a novel that i really hate.. for the whole time i read chinese novels this is the only one.
bad character progress. it seems the writer can't create a new villain. where the villain always escape death and return as level up enemy over and over again.. like someone kill your family and then when you have enough power for revenge suddenly your enemy got escape and comeback for another harassment.. and you have another level up and met with him but he got escape again and comeback for another harassment.. and again and again and again.. BORING NOVEL !! dont read it !!
So let's start this off nice and easy. Please ignore alot of the low star reviews of this novel. If you look at thier chapter status it speaks volumes by itself. Some haven't even read it and others are in the low 100's - 200's
What this novel is.
For our MC we have THE BLOOD CALAMITY MU CHEN.
While the novel does start of slow and people have complained about lack of mass murder in early chapters (think about it it's his hometown and he's a kid)
Next we have school (fiercer for sure but still mild compared to his true identity)
After that though **** better watch out the BLOOD CALAMITY MU CHEN is unleashed.
This MC is not quite li qiyue fierce (Emporers Domination) , but is definitely Chu Feng fierce(Martial God Asura).
Again please don't take the negative reviews seriously with 0-100 chapters read. That's like saying game of thrones is a terrible show having only watched 4 episodes but not knowing what your missing.
This is a good LN or should I say that "this is Not a bad LN". However, there are somethings to be aware of. The one thing I have HATED about this LN has been how the Author never has the MC break his enemies bones/bodies into a miserable state that takes a very long time to heal from. I also HATE how the Author never has the MC kill his enemies that really actually try to kill him. What happened to the Chinese saying "the be merciful to your enemy is to be merciless to your self"? His enemies keep coming back to try and KILL him over and over. Who the heck would allow someone to keep trying to KILL them without doing something about it? In RL you would call the police and they would go to jail. In Asian LNs the MC is suppose to KILL them. Not let them come back over and over to almost succeed in killing the MC each time... The only reason I read this on this site is because it is easier to read lots of chapters on QI. This is work that comes from WW's site. They have more chapters than QI.
Some will love it some will hate it. Me? hmmmmm i wont tell you. And you should not watching rewievs and decide for your self if you are gonna read it or not. :D
If anyone reading at 598(where premium start) at this point read the next chapter in wuxia.world its free there. also try asian novel if you want epub and pdf latest chapters that is free . Dont support this translator he dont give afvck about the readers. He dupelicate ,skip, mistranslate, and wrong order chapter later on. he even have the audacity to make it premium with poor quality translation and inconsistency
I love this novel compared to BTTH and WDQK for 1 sole reason...
SOLE REASON: This novel has no HAREM tag on it.
I love BTTH and WDQK but I stopped reading them halfway 'cause I found out they ended up having two wives. Although, somehow, its out responsibility, I still don't want it! I just want the MC to stick to only 1 girl. I would prefer the MC to just die alone than having a threesome. Lol. I'm a girl and I want a good romance. And this novel has it like the Dalou Series.
But, I still can't help feeling anxious. I hope the author won't betray me in the end. haha. I don't know what to do if it happens. I think I'm just gonna throw my phone and broke it out of frustration. LOL

TGR starts off with an interesting concept that makes you want to know what happened to the main character. In my opinion, the hype sadly wasn't worth the wait in finding out. Despite this, the main character isn't a scumlord and doesn't somehow attract every person in existence.
Sadly, TGR does a lot of things decently, but nothing really stands out, which would normally make me give a series 4 stars. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead is because the foreshadowing is just awful. Foreshadowing is a great tool for a author to build some hype for the characters, but this series will literally tell you exactly what's going to happen before it happens! For instance, main character found x, main character is now at a bottleneck and can't comprehend x, suddenly main character needs a solution. That thing he found 20 chapters ago, x, is the solution! This happens quite frequently and just ruined the story for me.

I already finished it on MTL, so... :
The story is "okay" like another usual xianxia and wuxia novel, but what disappointed me the most is the final battle and the ending.
The story is rushed like "boom" become the top powerhouse in a critical moment (well not in a very critical moment, but quite critical as like they did in BTTH and WDQK where the MC secluded and come out to become the strongest).
The problem is not only that, in the end, there is no explanation for the other...
