This novel was rather interesting. I was at first very put out by the MCs attitude throughout but came to understand a bit more as I read on in the novel. The parts that I disliked was the very descriptive torture scenes which made me wonder if this was the authors personal fetish, as it was overly intense.Anyways, I have read everything up to the current chapter I am at, I recall swearing not to purchase any more chapters but the author would release something that would cause me to purchase the chapter ahead in the want to know more, which is really a first for me in a long time.Overall it is a rather meticulously written novel, it captures many elements that a Novel should have and delivers these. As I mentioned above, the one retraction was the vivid torture scenes and I firmly believe that they could have been delivered in a more constructive manner…Just thinking now. I feel somehow the novels title should be different, as he is really more the villain than his wife to be is. After all he is armed with knowledge of the story and has actively taken away all the good things to be discovered by the protagonist and removed threats before they became serious threats with utter ruthlessness, so yeh maybe a different title.To sum up.. it ain’t bad !
