Just finished this book, and it was amazing. I was hooked on it after 3 chapters, and then I finished it in one weekend. This was the first book by this author that I have read, and I will definitely be looking for more to read by her.
Nonetheless, seeing a never aging Megie, seeing her suffering at having to live for who knows how long, and seeing how her magic and her mad-science Alchemy getting more and more powerful and profounding, Jin can only say that it was very disheartened. Why disheartened? It was very so because Megie only gets stronger so that she could kill herself. There was no other reason other than that.
