So far a pretty good story about a world where Music is the only way to harness magic power and fight the evils that prey on humanity. In the first 20 chapters it manages to make you laugh and hit you in the feels. The musical descriptions are also really well done. If you're interested at the idea of Musician mages at all I recommend giving it a read.

Let me be 100% honest about this review. The first 55 chapters of this book are written in a tone of misery and hardwork. This rest of the book is written to show the ridiculous hardwork the protagonist puts in. In one word the book is about misery of people without talent. I do not know what the author was trying to tell the reader by writing this book. The book is mostly about hardships of the protagonist. I personally am not a fan of book in which the protagonist puts in a lots of hardwork and gets close to nothing results.

I will tell you, this is interesting Novel, a bit confusing at first, and you feel like kill the MC, but is getting better when you read more chapter. In short word if I too describe is from MUSIC TO DARK SIDE DETECTIVE. Well our MC is strange his developmant never change his strong vision.

    Good side
    - Thriller
    - Mystery
    - Music
    - from weak to strong
    - well background

    Bad side
    - the author love use analogy or methapor like hyperbola (it make you dizzy at least it just first chappy)
    - this is not for beginner reader

So have you thought this novel too? Well even a bit bad in the first chappy, this novel I recomended for you who love strong fantasy story with mystery that make you want to dig and dig again.

It is very interesting I feel like I'm not reading a translated novel but a full on english novel. The way the author use his words to describe the story and the narration is all on top level. The story development is also straight to the point, well atleast it doesn't use up 3 chapters just to describe what MC is doing, in like some wuxia novels - won't name names. I don't want be hunted haha. A lot of twist and turns, in a very exciting and thrilling way. Whew, so much to say but you just gonna have to read the novel yourself to know what I'm talking about. ✌

Rough around the edges, but overall it's interesting enough to give readers a good read.
The world building could've been great, but the author gives us confusing infos, there're gods, but how many? What do you get from a convenant with a God? What kind of instrument are there? What are the effect of each instrument? The system/levels? Are some questions that might surface when you read this novel.
Character-wise they're great, the emotion of each meeting and separation could be felt easily.
Plot-wise is already good coupled with the world building.
Honestly, the lore/world is interesting if you could spare a few braincells to visualize this story as a blank paper. Just imagine the world, by each word, don't put in any visualization you might have from cultivation novels. Think of this one as a western novel.

Music?! I’m voting for this novel then. Honestly, we needs more novels concerning other genre besides arrogant young masters seeking death on every pathway.

One of the few good novels in this website.
I started reading this with no expectation at all, only because of the music genre. It did not help when the first few tens of chapter
are kind of bland and boring. Although due to that, the world building is done properly and consistently . The characters are also well made. At least, it is not carbon copy to other novels with hot-blooded genius, prodigy etc. Same goes with other side characters.
The story is going good all the way up to chapter 90+, and I suggest to read the novel up to this chapter to know wether it fits your taste or not.
What this novel lacks are excitement and fortuitous encounters(lol), though there might be in the future.
