Secrets of the shadowed Heart

I am baffled by some of the decisions of this story. When selecting to introduce a female character, they know are spying on them, but yet main characters are just chosing to ignore it.They start acting stupid, and gets bossed around by a secretary... They are supposed to be smart, VERY smart, and have a large base of knowledge to base their decisions on. But yet, it just derails the story in my opinion. It feels like the focus just shifts.

Hmm....a revenge based storyline , an OP MC ,a talented MC....Sounds pretty good ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
