One thing worth of note was that during that month he didn't eat nothing and he didn't even feel hungry. It shouldn't be so strange, after all his body is made of magic, but every characters of the series belonging to the Majin race was a ravenous eater, completely obsessed with food, so he thought they needed to eat so much because their body consumed too much energy, like vegeth of universe..., but this didn't seem the case. So maybe they eat so much because they like to do it? Who knows.
