Coming from Ch.212— It's not as bad as comments had led me to believe. Actually, I'd put it at a solid 7/10. It's a perfectly serviceable junk food read that changes up the genre just enough to be interesting. Unfortunately, the system aspect is extremely underexplored for everyone not the MC, especially stats which are a focal point. It was described extremely early, within the first ten chapters or so, that anyone who reaches Diamond-rank gets a rare stat related to their abilities, which seemed unique and fun. What rare stats have been revealed so far, so deep into the read? Only the ones used by the MC, +2 others that are just enhanced forms of the basic stats. The MC steamrolls the entire plot, there is the occasional bit of suspense but it's never long-lived, but the pacing is surprisingly good. Other characters don't get much screentime or first-person POVs, but they're still likeable and consistent. Only worldbuilding is really lacking, to the point I kinda WISH for lore dumps.
This was quite an entertaining one-shot manga. I believe it could have been even better if it had been longer, as the ending felt somewhat abrupt. However, for a short story, it was really impressive.

Strange or unexpected events occurred, and the characters occasionally acted in unpredictably comedic ways, which made this manhwa a delightful read for me. If you enjoy conventional, somewhat silly romantic-comedy manhwa, this one should suit your taste perfectly!
It’s a great read, I wish she had more patience for the merman, especially after he has helped her so often and it’s obvious he is not familiar with human ways.
