The story is good this is a V-Tuber fic with characters taking on similar persona’s as the v-tubers we have now while staying original themselves.
PLEASE NOTE: this story does not use IRL v-tubers but making OC’S using them as a reference.
The author does really well with flushing out the character’s background and with explaining there reasons for there actions. The mc John is likeable and smart but at the same time shows that he has the qualities of a returnee that being culture shock, that and him wanting to reconnect with his family gives good character development overall.
Now the cons of the book.
While John is likeable in his attempt to take the normal route instead of using his overpowering abilities he tends to make light of a situation and in turn it comes back to bite him in the a**.
The other characters tend to blame a lot if not everything on John to the point where you are not sure if it’s a joke or not anymore.
Personally I feel john let’s people off with a smack on the wrist too much making some of the choices he makes annoying.
Overall I loved the story even if something’s annoy me I can deal with it.

Seriously one of the best story I've read in webnovel, the start is rough but the writing style is consistent, the story is good with an actual backstory and with interconnected karma and other shenanigans, it's actually become a dang good reading material! love the comedy, love the drama, a very good slice of life, keep reading it folks! And you won't be disappointed.
Its a great novel with a great slice of life but I don't like the family drama of mc. I also think it's just some unecessary drama like it was just wholesome before, with an angry wife and daughter who was supposed to scold and punish mc for leaving them but it develop into somewhat annoying drama where it took like 10+ chapters after they reach Earth and they didn't even go after mc even though it was the PURPOSE of following him on Earth. If it wasn't for that drama this would be a solid 5 star for me. Yeah i hate drama especially a complicated one like the one with mc's.
one of the best stories I've read so far, the story really stretches itself and there's a lot of filler. Though the plot is interesting, and the world building is impeccable. All in all, a pretty great story.

also probably one of the best idol/vtuber novel I've read on webnovel, though probably because there isn't any vtuber/idol novel that is still continuing, but even if there was a lot of vtuber/idol novel, I could still confidently said that this is one of the best novel I've read
FYI webnovel tend to be... difficult sometimes and delete the draft chapter or the already published chapter... so just be ready to have some backup if that do happen again
