The first part itself ended badly, but I read this as I was extremely bored and wanted to know the answers for some questions he left unanswered in the first one. But man the second part is really bad. I feel pity for the guy who wrote this. He might have thought he would make good money out of this but he just wasted time.
I noticed that this didn't have a review, so I decided to write one. Keep in mind that it has been quite a while since I read this particular title, but I believe I remember enough to provide a decent review.
Story, 6 (VERY MINOR SPOILER INCLUDED): The narrative was primarily sci-fi, although there were some thriller elements introduced in the later chapters. I found the plotlines concerning the plant people especially intriguing and worth mentioning.
Art, 6: Considering this manga is an older title, I can't really fault the art style. It bears a strong resemblance to Western comics and was visually appealing.
Characters, 7: Most characters were reasonably well-developed with at least some rationale behind their actions. A few seemed somewhat archetypal, but it wasn't a significant issue.
Enjoyment, 6: I recall this being somewhat of a slow read for me. It was interesting, but I wasn't entirely captivated by the story overall.
Overall, 6: While there were some very engaging plotlines and solid characters, I wouldn't feel comfortable rating it higher than a 6. I would recommend this if you're interested in exploring an older sci-fi title that isn't Astro Boy, but it might not appeal to everyone due to its pacing and dated storytelling style.
