*What is going on there?* Anju thought as he quickly walked towards the crowd. Then he realized what they were shouting at. It was a frightened human boy who was wearing ragged clothes. He was also skinny and dirty. The crowd around him was formed by many creatures but mostly rich elves. Anju wouldn't normally care enough to do something about it, but it was something different when he had made a promise to that lady. The closest elf kicked the boy on the ground. Anju came to him and punched him. Everyone was shocked and the elf spat blood on the ground with rage in his eyes. "You bitch. Do you know who I am? I'm one of the most powerful citizens of this town!" Anju wasn't really impressed.
The narration of the book is good but it could do a bit of improvement by being a bit interactive with the narration. Well, that's something I have trouble doing myself. Perhaps, breaking the paragraphs that got too long might help for the readers that were reading on the phone. The storyline is very unique and something I have never encountered before but the foundation or introduction of the system at the start of the story feels a little bit not enough. I only read until the first few chapters so it will probably be expanded more in the later chapters. Overall it's a nice read with some new and nice ideas.
I love the way the story is described, it is so tense and immersive. The way the people talk the dialogue and everything is amazingly written. The authors use of detail is great, and some of the dialogue is sus ;)Overall, a very cool story, though the terms are modern and im old, so things like bagging someone look like this to me:
