I became an extra who married the greatest villain in the world and gave birth to an obsessed maniac.

I thought I could divorce the villain and give birth to a son…

“Please divorce me. I will raise the child.”

I couldn’t understand why he seemed so angry when I requested a divorce. His clenched fists trembled uncontrollably.

“I promise I’ll never appear before you again.”
“Where will you go?”
“I’ll leave the empire and go somewhere else…”

I wanted to say that I planned to leave the empire and run far away, where I would never see him again, but I couldn’t.

“If you go somewhere else, I will erase that place from the map.”
“……”
“If you go to another man, I will kill him.”

So, you.
Whether you live or die, you will stay by my side.

This is an excellent novel, with each scene vividly portrayed through detailed narration. The pacing strikes a perfect balance - neither too slow nor too fast; it's just the right tempo. I adore the charming and dashing character, Leonel. I'm eagerly anticipating Amelia's escape from the duchy; I find myself more invested in her separation from Raphael, even though I believe it's deserved. I can hardly wait to see Leonel grow up. I sincerely hope the translation continues, and I want to express my gratitude to Tl-nnim for their hard work.

I can recognize the potential in this narrative. The female lead (FL) displays a sensible approach, and I appreciate how she gradually builds a connection with the son. However, personally, I find the pacing a bit too slow to suit my taste. Although the male lead (ML) isn't among the most unlikable I've encountered, he lacks charm, and their constant animosity doesn't engage me when the story meanders on. As I read, I'm hoping for a turning point where she decides to leave. A quick skim through suggests that by chapter 39, they're still living together. Given that, I think I'll put this story on hold and revisit later when there are more updates.
