Nine Yang Sword Saint

At first I thought that I had finally found a normal Chinese novel, but the longer I read the worse it got. First, from the polite hero, they make the next destroyer of sects who immediately promises to kill not his opponent, but to cut out his entire sect. Then some time restrictions begin, which the author introduced just to add cheats to the main character. Well, how could I forget about stupid dialogues, where the main character says that “he had never seen such a cool mastery of the sword”, I’m wondering, but he has something to compare with? He is from our world and not from the world of martial arts. Why do they constantly translate all garbage, and not for example Legend of the Cultivation God (https://***.novelupdates.com/series/legend-of-the-cultivation-god/) or Legend of the Great Saint (https: // ***.novelupdates.com/series/legend-of-the-great-saint/)

The story was quite promising at the beginning that he got into the world. I did enjoy it. But things turned bad as new characters were gradually introduced.
Firstly, the content was full of filler made by side characters with primal IQ that you would constantly wonder if they were homo sapients. The main character decision making was also repetitively bizarre and unrealistic. In many occasions, it would only make sense to me if these grown up men and women were substituted with middle school boys and girls. Their conflicts have similar level of significant and intelligence.
It is not that I expected a perfectly rational characters. I do find making mistakes interesting and realistic. But repeating the stupidity is exclusive for idiots. The mc is becoming harder and harder for me to bear with. So I have decided to drop this.

Hi, so I've already read this in on the Chinese site a few years back, and I was pretty surprised by this story. overall, this is a story about a guys who gets transmigrated to another realm, when  he spontaneously combust due to his Nine Yang bloodline. In this new realm he is trapped in a glacier with a powerful expert who was tricked by his enemies. This powerful expert teaches him cultivation, and due to appreciation of his talent (and because he is about to die soon), he betrothes his only daughter to the MC. The story progresses, and no surprise, the daughter doesn't want to marry and is pretty repulsive of the entire idea. The reason this story stands out is due to the unique setting of the world, (there are multiple realms who are just part of the same world), the fact that the MC doesn't just sail through everything due to plot armour, and the fact that MC actually makes use of his earthly knowledge in some situations.
The ending is also pretty good (which is rare for a Chinese novel) and doesn't feel too rushed or forced. Also, the consequences of situation has a unique impact on the world, which I haven't seen before.

Some caveats in this novel, are the somewhat 2D characters and romance targets, typical arrogant face smacking, and other typical Chinese Wuxia troves that you'll find in almost every other Chinese novel. If you get beyond this, you'll find that NYSS has a pretty unique setting and a fulfilling romance.

Overall this is one of the more memorable story that I've read - so I'd definitely recommend this.

Summary: Basically **** plot, but the **** is terrible and the story makes negative sense. Also the author seems to want to make the readers as angry as possible.

Don't waste your time reading this story. I imagine the author is a hormone filled angsty **** on crack based on how erratic the story proceeds, and the immensely crude rendition of any female characters. I have to commend the translator on the translation quality, but even they have given up on the story at chapter 125. I've read ahead, and I can totally relate: We read fiction for entertainment but this story is so far fetched it's infuriating. Every second paragraph is an completely unexpected twist that the m/c seemingly will never overcome but then the next, he will MIRACULOUSLY solve it. The worst part is 99% OF THIS COULD BE AVOIDED IF THE MC JUST DID THE LOGICAL ACTION  AT THE TIME!!! So I'm dropping this novel, and for good riddance, I'd say...

The beginning is awesome, read all the way till he stays in the Sect, after that drop the novel completely and enjoy sweet dreams, if you continue reading, you'll wish to kill the author like I do. Never have I once tried to drop a novel till now. This **** is pure crap. Need at least 500 more Chapters before it MIGHT get good.

Absolutely terrible story dude doesn’t even start cultivating in a cultivation novel until chapter 50 something   
Author makes the MC dumb and he litterly acts like a 5 year old. Author gives characters power that they shouldn’t even have with there status and honestly doesn’t explain have the **** that goes on if you read this you will lose brain cells I tried to read through it but it’s soo bad don’t do what I did and continue on

So, I normally don't leave reviews, but I was so disgusted by the stupidity of just the 1st half of the opening chapter,  I had to rant....

Anyways, imagine a circle about 10 paces across
Now, imagine that circle is A KILOMETER away
Got it pictured?  Can you even see the circle anymore?
Ok, now imagine looking out that circle a kilometer away and noticing enough details of the heavens to recognize not just that there are 2 suns, but that they are different sizes and brightnesses

Cause looking thru a giant, unmagnified, tube is so fucking useful for observation

I don't care if it's only the start, I don't care if it gets better, this author should be castrated to prevent such stupidity from being passed on to our future gene pool

Translator removed all sex scenes from the original novel. where there used to be 2 or 3 paragraphs of intimacy, the translator replaces those paragraphs with ‘then they were intimate for the rest of the night’. disappointed but the story is excellent nonetheless. considering the only job of the translator is to translate, it would be 5 stars if he didn’t removed the r-18 scenes

This book is fucking terrible. Literally getting ****ed over everywhere he goes. He and the few people who are trying to do good know who the Bad guys are but do nothing and just let them **** **** up. Bad guys live good guys die. Dumb fucking book

76 chapters and there's barely any progress. You made a very interesting approach to transmigrate the MC at that old age but for me it was a stupid idea. The main point of cultivation novels was to set a level of strength to each cultivation. Since the author has put the MC as 20 he at least should have the ability to catch up to geniuses from the first couple of chapters to show that his talents are real not just some words the author came up with. The setting of the first problem was great for the MC but the MC not only has the MC improved only a slight he is now attaining one problem after another. Ridicule for the MC is fine but when you make the MC so small it diminishes the value of the MC. Do you really think that all the readers would read all this crappy story of yours just to reach the part where he can now be strong?
