Here’s a rewritten version of your text:

    ---

What can I say about this? The title is misleading.

    - The one who always starts something is the MC.
    - fMC is not a pervert.
    - There’s a lack of romantic tension (seriously, I read this story with a poker face because the relationship is too flat).
    - They act more like siblings, even avoiding holding hands.
    - They don’t want to tell their friends about their relationship (I hate this cliché, it’s overused and frustrating).
    - Ironically, their friends start dating and kissing within two weeks, while the MC and fMC don’t even want to hold hands.

After 20 chapters, I was initially pleased with the fast-paced plot, but it has slowed down significantly, with three chapters covering just one day in the story. Their relationship feels stagnant and boring.

I don’t understand why they don’t feel love for each other after 18 years as childhood friends. I remember loving my childhood friend back in elementary school.

But maybe this is a 1 in 100 million scenario.

If this pace continues, I can picture them kissing on the cheek after three months, on the lips after a year, and having a French kiss after two years. And they might have sex after five years.

I hope I’m wrong, but given that the author has only posted 63 chapters in three years, I doubt it.

It’s a waste of a good premise, if I may say so.

This is a novel for no one.

You want something deep? Not this.

You want something spicy? Not this.

You want something sweet? Not this.

It’s so flat, with no progression. The story tries to emphasize "going at their own pace," which is fine, but also really weird. These characters have been friends for over 10 years—what more is there to learn about each other? You can’t even feel the love between them, and it doesn’t help that their interactions are as exciting as watching paint dry on a wall. They have absolutely no personality, past, or insecurities, which is the bare minimum for engaging characters.

And you might think there’d be some drama or conflict to bring the two closer together, but since the story lacks any interesting elements, it’s disappointing to say the least. I got clickbaited by the title.

TL;DR: Clickbait title, boring interactions, no progression, zero personality characters.

It's a pleasant read if you're looking for something light yet heartwarming. It’s not too deep; it’s more like a gentle breeze telling a story.

It's light and, as Subaru mentioned, it's like a gentle wind telling a story, though there is one truly worthwhile theme.

The characters aren’t fully at ease with each other at first; they don’t really consider each other as more than potential options. However, we see their efforts to build a strong relationship paying off spectacularly, even quite early on. It’s refreshing to see characters actively working to create a healthy relationship and seeking advice from the adults around them, rather than being mindlessly lovey-dovey and potentially unstable in the long run.
