Another great novel. hooked me from the first chapter itself. love the World setting, and characters... one piece fans would love to read it. Great work author. keep going.
We all can agree that this novel is inspired from One Piece and that is what made this novel so interesting and fun to read. Expect that this would be the same as thinking if luffy have a system. So without a further ado, i will now start my review.
Writing Quality: Superb... the author already have years worth of writing experience. If he has grammar mistakes, then it would mean that he didn't improve. So, you can expect to read a novel with little to no grammar mistakes.
Story Development: Can already be guessed just from reading the synopsis. Think of it as luffy with a system but his parents were killed. But I gotta say, mc's past is same as Naruto.
Character Design: Since author already have experience, he didn't make the mistake of making his characters like cardboards or one dimensional characters.
Updating Stability: Author updates daily so expect that he can satiate your thirst for reading.
World Background: 30% Land and 70% Water. What else did you expect?
Overall: A must read. Author didn't info dump so it is an interesting and entertaining reading experience. But nothing is perfect so I wouldn't dare to give a five star review.
to preface this review, I read until the end of the free chapters and I figured I should give my piece.
The premise from the title does sound incredible, even for a system novel and when the MC finally gets more involved in the story around chapter 16-20, it starts to pick up. Between chapter 5-15 ish involves a lot of world building but it's not related to the MC which was a turn off for me.
The system also takes a long time to come into the picture (around chapter 22 ish). Generally speaking, the starting chapters can stand to be rearranged or be condensed since it's not enough of a hook imo.
As from the brief time I had with the free chapters, the MC is written somewhat close to an 8 year old would think, albeit more mature than expected which is a nice detail. I honestly couldn't tell you who are the side characters beyond showing me the names and what they are but not much more.
It definitely has promise and definitely isn't a bad read if you are looking for a pirate themed novel. It just could be executed better from an entertainment standpoint.
too long of a build up, inconsistent grammar, MC has a weird mindset, odd s**ual assault bit added in, cliche after cliche. I don't know what I'm reading sometimes.
