Two words to describe this novel, absolutely garbage. Where do I really begin, I can go on about the author using the same tropes literally every 50 chapters, "look this a totally amazing story/poem from my past life (people go wow)
ClichéTitle should be "I have the memories of an Alchemy Emperor in my head"The reason being, he doesn't have the guy in his head, only his memories.I was hoping for some funny interactions that make him look schizophrenic.AnywaysFatty Bestfriend - CheckLittle Sister - CheckLittle Sister is really talented but has some disease thing - CheckMC is trash - CheckMC is poor - CheckMC gets cheat - CheckThe cliché's all align just as foretold by the last 100 novels I've read. The only difference being that the novel takes place on earth, after some sword power killed most of the population, with the majority of the survivors being Chinese, shock.MC touched a painting and gained and old mans memories. MC was trash (or average) and is suddenly becoming stronger kind of fast. He immediately shows off in his next class by talking about thing that nobody in the world has seen before, and is currently in research like some professional, of course this all comes from his memories. New thing is that there's tech, referring Qi and shit to bioenergy. Wondering where this will lead too.So far I've seen most of this crap before, most of the other reviews here are just emoji spam or irrelevant guessing. MC Shows off stupidly - Check
Sigh.. it reminds me of Absolute Choice, it sucks that its dropped. You can read it if you like tho cause it has lot of chapters, just get passed the early chapters, many find it cringe because the author wants the mc act like his age. Mc is reincarnated to this super world, but not as an old man or something, but literally a kid too. Short story, he chooses among the choices given, choices are only given when its special(i think), he gets rewards depending on his choice and he needs to act it to work, otherwise it loops from the beginning, dying also loops it(works only at the time of choices, if he dies anywhere else, then dead). Its one of those novels that i wished wasnt dropped, even hiatus wouldve been great, but its been years now.
Story starts out pretty fast with our disgusting protagonist Otaku loser turning into his cultivation self. (Side note, if he has lived for thousands of years, not sure why he isn't more mature but that's whatever.) As of the latest chapters where it was revealed that he was actually in a world made by a cultivator and that (surprise surprise) the world is real and not just a game, I have kind of started to lose interest. It starts exciting with a lot of unknowns as we observe our protagonist and the world chat etc. But, we see less and less of the world chat functions, and the story feels less like what it originally was.I know that he is supposed to be 'mysterious' but part of what made this story so good was the merging of cultivation, video games, and chats. Also, the leaderboards haven't really been used well. There were many opportunities to open up more routes for characters or sects but they are brushed aside and the only reoccurring characters are the MC's waifus. Oh, and yes im angry that grandmaster turned suicidal. By the way, please please please make leaderboard characters more relevant. The only relevant one you are making is the "number 2" but since they were all sent in batches, I'm sure that the competitive spirit is fueling the top 10 players.. add some worth to them and give them a name. As for my last critique: The fact that the players were all sent in batches is kind of strange and lame. Due to the capabilities of the cultivation God or whatever I'm sure there could have been a waiting room or a time manipulation on a high level for everyone to start at the same time. idk, guess it's just so that mc seems '"cooler" that he did all this while being behind.
DON'T GIVE UP ON THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One hundred and forty characters later. DONT GIVE UP ON THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The book is very nice to read. There are typos and grammar errors here and there, but that's every book. The story development is slow paced, but I like it like this. The MC is only a couple of months old as of now but hasn't made some astronomical growth in little time. I like the pacing because a lot of slow pace novels just have fast development of characters and/or powers with a slow story, but this one actually takes it slow. I havent seen Eternals but this barely feels like a fanfiction and more like an actual story. Some characters are a bit undeveloped like the MC's two sisters but I can relate to the characters although there has only been a few.The world background, well its a fanfiction so we don't really need it.
it's so frustrating to read, I must leave a comment. This story takes slow burn to a new level... even I, who's an obsessive reader who must read every shitty story to the end, lost the interest by the fifth chapter. Good writing skill totally wasted on the slow story.
