   As the days passed by Alucard continued the schedule he created since the beginning of the year. He would wake up, get ready, go to the library, and then cultivate. Finally on the last two days of school the exam proctors measured his growth and he was allowed to stay on his scholarship.

I like the setting of this world. I've always liked grim, insecure settings with gangs, violence, and crime, and this novel delivers all of them. The characters are likable and their personalities and relationships with one another feel organic and natural, which is very good. Recommended! I'll be eager to see more chapters.
