I had a feeling of hopeless battlefield untillucien came along aan changed it all.

I think this book has a lot of potential. I’d like to see the author put a little more time into forging and adding an additional level of detail to the games. Calling the beast “a moth” or “a mouse” just seems a bit lazy, add some nouns like a “Temporal Void Moth” or “Meta Time Mouse”. Also the stories progression seems a bit off, went from not being able to fight iron rats to fighting a dragon godmod death in like 20 chapters, something like that should happen over 200 chapters. Same with the whole family confrontation, came a bit too early in the story.
