Story was interesting. At least, the characters were more realistic. Not super OP like other books where the lead characters were the best at everything. Here, the characters had flaws and weaknesses. Only problem for me sometimes is how the author portrayed FL and ML as too tolerant to the point of stupidity. For such intelligent individuals, they are repeatedly subjected to schemes and traps, and then they also have such strange logic or roundabout reasoning in making decisions. Story also dragged on sometimes so I actually skipped some chapters. The amnesia portion was also boring and predictable. Then you have the scenes where a CEO would travel to a remote area to deliver public assistance and stay there by herself without bodyguards or assistants. Sure, manure. Also, the ML was supposedly ruthless, and yes he could be, but he was always trapped by gratitude that was way OTT. Anyway, all in all, I would rate this 7 out of 10. There were the usual he/she errors, grammar, and name changes, but the book is readable. Curious though, what happened to her friend Loco? She disappeared but I do not recall reading why.
Go back to the drawing board I’ve spent to much already. I’ve summarized enough to know where it will end up including finding her relatives etc etc. What bothers me is if I continue to patronize this book and this company, I’ll continue to be robbed. Good luck and do better. Greed is a sin
