    Let me guess.
It's going to be: Suddenly a black colored portal opened and monsters poured out of it. When everyone was escaping to save their lives, those who played the game realized that monsters are familiar and then THE GAME becomes REALITY!

Part two of Lodoss-tou Senki continues in a similar vein.
It's yet another classic fantasy tale, this time with Parn and Deedlit tasked to prevent a war between clans that involves summoning some kind of spirit god. This arc is much shorter and doesn't emphasize the overarching plot of finding the witch, but it's still an engaging story.

Two aspects stand out here: the artist from the first part is no longer involved, and the manga is now drawn by the author of the original novel himself. It's not poor; the character designs are simpler, but the monster designs and depictions of violence are more striking.

The other highlight is the development of Parn and Deedlit's relationship. Personally, this might be my favorite aspect of the series, even though it's not the central focus at all.

In conclusion, it's a solid continuation of the story, even if it doesn't advance the plot of finding the witch.

I decided to give this book a try because I really like her other works and it did not disappoint. This story was so good.
