Yeah, there's 2 slaves towards the end, but one ends up missing from the authors memory (author was smoking crack, he forgot stuff all the time), the one he actually remembered doesnt even do much, author will only remember she existed for like 10 chapters.
Also there's no romance, the harem tag doesnt make Sense either, its just someone stretching It. All his employees are women except for one dude, but the MC rarely interacts with them (Just like he hardly does shop management). He spends most of his time with his pets, all male. The girls fancy him but never goes beyond that.
He got two female pets at one point in time, except the author forgot them literally 3 paragraphs later and never mention them again (This happens a lot)

So I tracked this down after hearing it was a crossover between One Piece and Dragon Ball, because who wouldn't be intrigued by something like that? You have two incredible artists blending their beloved characters into what should be an amazing story, right?

The story is entirely random, and if I hadn't read One Piece or Dragon Ball, I would have been completely lost. It makes vague references to minor plot points from the original series, but it lacks the "pirates" or "Z-fighters" themes altogether. It's just a bunch of random characters going about their (presumably) daily routines. It's utterly plotless.
The art, however, is fantastic. It's beautifully drawn, the characters mesh seamlessly, and there's plenty of action in the background—very characteristic of the OP and DB series. In fact, the art is probably the best aspect of this manga, as it allows you to see (with official illustrations!) what the characters look like together.
The characters are also great. They retain the same personalities from their respective series, so if you haven't read One Piece or Dragon Ball before, you might not understand what's happening or why the characters act certain ways within the manga.
The enjoyment value was decent; after all, it's One Piece and Dragon Ball. Even if it's a completely off-the-wall story, it was entertaining to see some characters interact. Kudos to Sanji and Roshi hanging out—it was awesome.
Overall, if you've read Dragon Ball and One Piece, you should probably check out Cross Epoch just to say you did. On the bright side, the art is genuinely impressive, blending the best elements of Toriyama's and Oda's distinct styles. What surprised me most—and turned out to be the highlight of this one-shot—is that Toriyama draws the Dragon Ball characters while Eiichiro Oda handles the One Piece ones. This separation keeps their unique artistic styles intact, which feels refreshing and satisfying.
