I really wish the main character had some back bone, but I guess that is asking for too much, considering that the story has been running for such a long time... The females of this story are very lacking, I just Seveni, she is more straight to the point when it comes to many matters...
<p>For a shounen ai oneshot, Kikagaku Ehon is a pleasant piece of work. It's not groundbreaking, nor does it offer anything particularly special or noteworthy. It's simply a charming tale about two men who work in a bookshop and fall in love. I chose to write a review on it, despite its simplicity, because I appreciated the smooth flow of the story, the absence of unnecessary twists or subplots, and how all the shounen ai cliches are neatly woven together to create a nice narrative with a cute plot and likable characters. If you don't enjoy reading stories that essentially incorporate elements that have been written countless times before, you should pass on this oneshot. However, if you're in the mood for a short story that could brighten your day, you won't regret giving it a try.</p>
