I thought it would be a good read, but the translation is really hard to get through. The concept is fun, and I was excited, but the author adds these weird little bits of information that throw me off.

In the first major confrontation with the villain, who initially seemed like a serious threat, the author goes off on a tangent about everything that made the villain who he is and how much of a loser he was. Not to the main character (MC), but the villain just starts reminiscing or something. When the MC shows up, he randomly makes a quip like, "Don’t listen to that loser, he’s probably balding," and the villain freaks out, like, "Oh my god, how did he know about my custom real human hair wig cap?"

Not to mention, the translation feels really off and keeps switching between 'he' and 'she' for everyone. Sheesh, I really wanted to finish this story, but it became a drag.

This turned out to be a well-crafted backstory for the main character, one of my favorites. I definitely recommend it.

However, since both the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML) are primarily focused on combat, the story is packed with action and battles, with fewer puzzle-solving or plot-driven segments (though they are both quite clever). The characters are endearing, and it’s amusing how the main couple is deeply in love, yet the story remains far from being overly romantic. I particularly enjoy how the MC often kills the mood with his deadpan humor. 😂 While the narrative isn’t groundbreaking and I wish the ghosts and monsters were more terrifying, the story is still highly enjoyable.

Pros:
The main character (MC) isn’t afraid of ghosts but is terrified of losing money, which reminds me a bit of my mom, actually. The MC gets spawned inside a toilet cubicle and a supermarket, which is a bit dull and makes the MC feel out of place. So far, the story has some suspense, though not much action.

Cons:
The side characters are either two-dimensional or unbearably annoying.
