3 chapters and all well translated!

This seems like a very sweet and fluffy story, right up my alley! I hope the translator continues with it; I've seen novels that never get translated because of poor reviews. I'll be eagerly waiting for updates!

I agree with one of the reviews; it's a bit frustrating to see how things dragged on until the end.

The main characters (MC and ML) finally get official in Chapter 59, which is just one chapter from the end. 😑😑 And the MC knew that ML could see his ghost form in the extras, which was what I was waiting for. How will ML explain to the MC that he could see him from the beginning? It feels very anticlimactic. It seems like their issues were still unresolved until Chapter 58, and then suddenly in Chapter 59, they got together, and it was all snusnu and everything.

The villain is also left behind. I was hoping he had a hand in the MC's death, but he was cut off after all the buildup.

To spoil how the MC can take human form, if I understand correctly (I only read the machine translation), he has to be the one to initiate intimacy with ML. In doing so, he appears in human form and then has to revert to his ghost form afterward. So, does this mean they can have snusnu every day? (Just a thought)

Disclaimer: I only read the machine translation, so things might not be entirely accurate.

Still, 5 stars. I appreciate the authors and still find it kilig kilig.

    5 stars for originality
    3 stars for character development

I was so intrigued by the premise of this novel, and let me tell you, the first three chapters were fantastic. But then came the trouble...

    **Spoiler**
I don’t really like the male lead (ML); he was so slow at solving problems, all because he didn’t want the main character (MC) to know that he could see his ‘ghost.’ Yes, I understand that he loves the MC deeply, but I don’t think that justifies his way of letting everyone, especially his annoying brother, continue causing problems. For someone who is supposed to be an overbearing ‘genius president’ of the century, it’s baffling how easily he lets himself be pushed around. The plot also became ridiculous in the later chapters, like when the MC becomes human again and the first thing he does is look for a job, only to be accepted immediately just because he’s handsome, even though he doesn’t even have an ID card. It’s laughable.

It’s an okay read, though—just something to pass the time, if you can accept the two-dimensional villains. But I’m dropping this.

Sure, here is the rewritten content:

    ---

Like some of them, I finished this through MTL, so it might not be entirely accurate. Anyway, the story is good; the concept and everything else are really intriguing and entertaining.

    But...

I dislike how the author keeps dragging out the truth at the end just because they think it's not yet explainable. Sure, okay, but then the author ends up making the main character figure it out on their own, and suddenly they're together, and "bam," everything is resolved. So, what? And to think it happens at the end of the chapter. The ending is a bit disappointing for me, hmm.

But anyway, it's a good read. It's not too long nor too short, so it's fine to spend some leisure time reading it.

I dropped it halfway through because it’s mind-numbingly boring and inconsistent.

It’s a "sweet text," meaning it’s shallow and mostly brainless sugar.

I thought the setting was interesting, and it is, but only for a while.

The whole novel is completely based on the main character (MC) being a ghost and the male lead (ML) acting like he doesn’t know.

In short, it got repetitive very quickly.

Despite being tagged with comedy, I didn’t come across anything that was funny, and the slightly amusing parts repeated so often that they ended up getting on my nerves.

The characters are flat, and all the bad guys are morons, which was to be expected yet still somewhat disappointing because they are the only source of actual entertainment.

Initially, I wanted to give it three stars; a sweet text isn’t professional or groundbreaking by nature.

Its inconsistencies made me drop one star.

It got really irritating how often the MC wondered why the ML doesn’t have a woman, isn’t interested in ladies, or blindly assumed that the ML likes one of the female characters.

He knows the ML is/was in love with him, so much that he wanted to kill himself to be with the MC, so it makes absolutely no sense for him to think that the ML is straight.

It didn’t even cross his mind that the ML might (only) be interested in men, like loving the MC, a man, wasn’t a dead giveaway.

There are other things, like the ML not sleeping, eating, drinking, or going to the bathroom for a whole week.

Sweet text or not, this is a level of nonsense and inconsistency that shouldn’t be reached.

This is cute, but why did I only see three chapters? There are people reviewing this up to chapter 36 at the end. Am I missing something? I hope it's not a bug because I want more of this.

I enjoyed the characters and this story, but it’s a fairly light tale when it comes to plot, world-building, and background development.

The author seems to use a bit of hand-waving to make the story work. It’s meant to be a comedy, but it primarily relies on a slightly cute and oblivious main character (MC) and a devoted, wealthy male lead (ML) to keep the reader engaged. While it’s a familiar trope, it’s executed reasonably well.

The connection between the two characters is quite cliché and feels like a typical romantic plot device. It’s unrealistic and riddled with plot holes.

However, this is a short story, and it does manage to entertain.
