great book plenty of plot twists I love this book and cannot wait to see where it goes mark is a great character and unlike other books he doesn't just all of a sudden immediately have godlike powers out of nowhere and more detailed about food gathering and gathering ammo which makes it more realistic

Reading up to Ch22, it is hard to read. The situation changes are abrupt. Sometimes time would pass suddenly without indication - in one paragraph it is one date, and next, it is suddenly the future. Sometimes the PoV would change abruptly. The living conditions, his location, there is no smooth transition. I have had to re-read the passages to infer things. The relationships he has (he has only 2) are unclear. The only thing that is clear is that world is strong eat the weak and he is very weak. An example, in ch22 he has some people collected outside his house (probably). There is no clear indication if they are grouped outside his door, you can infer but it is confusing. It needs some serious editing.

I have read most of the novel but iam done I guess bcz I can't bear a for ed romance at all he first met Alice and they became rival and teammates for the quest and  that was all good  and I was really liking that idea but then she suddenly disappeared for no apparent reason and then there then introduce cloe and that seems really forced and she even forced him to date her and I really don't like her as a fml bcz that seems to forced I don't know why author have to do something so stupid when he/she was writing the story of shin and Alice so well but I guess that's their choice so Sayonara

Mysterious, anime like fighting and detailed descriptions. I really like the beginning and earlier chapters, introducing the world and stuff seems really good. Especially the glutton and the many variations of it. The world building is good, taking a mix of post apocalypse and monster (from what I deduced). You would find this extremely likable if you favor dark and full of monsters and struggle story. One thing that is really rare and interesting is the use of candy system lol

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if someone made a Chinese parody of the Fallout series? This is pretty much it. The author pretty much rips the world background of the Fallout series and pastes it in his novel. Some things are rewritten but 90% of the core lore of the Fallout series is there untouched. It's Fallout : China Edition Points heavily deducted for the author not being able to create his own world. Putting a *very* light spin if at all (most of the lore is pretty much left untouched) is bad. Character design is the standard stuff you'd see in about any generic novel. (Harem building, heroines swooning over MC without effort, magical plot device, etc) It is still too early to judge the story as of 12 chapters but all the red flags are there telling anyone that this novel is just another drop on the bucket.
