All the powerful people including the palace people came hoping they could obtain the artifact in the bidding. But seeing the prince's came, they thought that they want to obtain it for their father emperor who was rumored to be sick. Everyone was anxious and couldn't be stilled. Each one of the powerful families needed it to save the important elders in their clan. Thus, they came prepared by a large sum of money.

Xavier screeched as the words echoed in his head, the idea of flight ripping through his brain. He imaged wings, giant ones, like those of a bat. He imagined being able to fly away, as far away from this horrendous city as he could possibly be. It had brought him nothing but pain and fear, and this was the climax of it. He felt power surge down his spine as his shoulders lit up with horrible pain.

Keep going. Your writting quality appears to be a bit rushed. But we'll in my opinion. The story development and character are well balanced. Keep up with your great work.

The stories and plots are exciting!  The author's writing style is easy to read and the world building  is freaking amazing! Not to mention the characters, Very fun to read!  For those who are into fantasy and adventure genres,  you should read Cesaga!
