Book gets worse with time. Plot armour for MC everywhere. No to little personal growth for MC. He has 1 million more brains than us but can’t let his pride take a back seat. Smh
When I'm reading other novels, I look at the number of pages (on my cellphone) and think "damn, there are still 20 pages".. then I read this novel. I can read 50 pages, but I won't feel exhausted reading it. It's just too damn good.
The MC is incredibly unsympathetic. His actions, thinking, and behavior make him unlikable. The author's struggle to give proper scientific explanations to fantasy-like developments make the whole story awkward. I do not recommend it.
It is a well written story.More than 80% of the cultivation novels the I have read, the MC is either retard or an idiot. Provoking powerful people left and right for no reason, and when they lose " I want revenge 😤😤 and yada2, this and that without making any sense" . And have suddenly the ability to defeat people way more powerful than then, and can jump cultivation realms without side effects.I hope this doesn't becomes one of them and please don't dropped the story.
I picked up my bag and left, the information from my memories had it right. Overprotective over his crew, and thinks violent is never the correct way for things.
Basically this story is like an alternate history or alternate universe itself.Imagine this - you are reborn in another world where everything's an AU, a parallel world itself and there are different versions of the historical figures (Why not also have an OCs too?)For example, that world's Jose Rizal is alive. He's a doctor here and one of the ministers. There's no Katipunan. While there are plenty much to see here for this AU Philippines story, I think author should create or use more OCs whenever possible because it is an AU story itself and that the geopolitical climate there is highly and likely different.
