Not sure if this is useful for anyone, but I thought it would be nice to share anyway. If you have recently read all 41 chapters of the manhwa and now you want to start reading the novel then head over to chapter 60 “Holy Knight Georgic (1)”. It starts off exactly where the 41th chapter ended. Have a wonderful day.

The sense of national superiority is quite pronounced and off-putting in this context. Chinese individuals are portrayed as the sole, pure-blood humans, while others are virtually nonexistent or deemed impure and inferior once humanity ventures into the interstellar realm. Earth's history, predominantly depicted, revolves around Chinese history, a theme that recurs throughout many chapters. The narrative mainly focuses on culinary demonstrations and extensive viewer commentary, with limited exploration of worldviews and an even tinier portion dedicated to romantic elements.

The story's main narrative is quite comprehensible, allowing me to read ahead. Overall, it's not a bad story, but there are a few areas where I believe the author could allocate more attention.

Regarding the main character's (MC) age discrepancy, the author seems to have a inconsistencies. Since people in the story's future are typically considered adults at 25, it's odd that the MC, being 23, is still regarded as a minor. The male lead (ML), claiming to be 92 (though we're unsure if that's his real age), tries to justify the age difference by comparing it to historical practices where 18-year-olds were considered adults. However, this analogy doesn't hold water; just because it was once acceptable doesn't mean it's appropriate in the current context.

The ML's behavior towards the MC also raises concerns. He keeps important information from him and even resorts to physical discipline, treating him like a child. This dynamic, where the ML both sees and treats the MC as a minor while harboring romantic intentions, creates a highly uncomfortable situation. It's important to establish clear boundaries and respect the MC's maturity, especially since he is legally an adult in the story's world.

I initially had positive intentions towards this, appreciating the vivid food descriptions and the readability. However, from the beginning, there's an issue with the所谓的情侣 character. To put it bluntly, in Chapter 1, it's revealed that this person is responsible for the original soul's disappearance, which is quite a shocking revelation. Furthermore, he unjustifiably harasses our main character, and the MC accepts this violent behavior without a second thought. The MC even expresses interest in someone who has already killed them. This all happens very early on, leaving me struggling to overlook the red flags that pop up.

The story is engaging up until now, but I'm struggling to locate the translated version in Montreal. I'm quite frustrated about it, T^T. Despite having only read five chapters, I've grown quite fond of Xiao Nan for taking care of her 23-year-old, foolish brother at just 12 years old. According to the rules, Su Yemu is still considered underage since adulthood is marked at 25. I really hope he matures a couple of years before they can be together. I noticed the 'Mpreg' tag on Foxaholic but not here, which is confusing me. I'm hoping to find the translated version soon. Edit: Just minutes after posting this, I managed to locate the translated content.

"I am eagerly anticipating this read. Although it appears to share similarities with other cooking-based yaoi (BL)穿越小说, that's a genre I enjoy, so it doesn't bother me. I'm hoping for some unique or innovative elements in this one."
