18+ is the first thing came to my mind when I first read this novel. Brutality and *** spice things up. Not recommend to young reader with immature mind. But daddy like it so +1.

Translation quality: Hmm, 4 stars out of 5. I heard that this novel was translated by wuxiadream (3 out of 5) but the quality is better now compare to their version. It is okay for me because I don't really about the quality. Everyone knows that all the good translators are with ww.

Only problems with story plot is it repeat over and over again. The skill, the sect systems, etc...

Word background is also repeat over and over.

My reading experience was pretty fine even after this novel got blocked by spirit stone paywall, thats totally cool, but when we pay for chapter and then translator demands 5$ for content that was cut due to censorship, that sucks. Why the original content is eligible for being on chinese website, but international readers seem to be inferior to others, according to qidian.

This novel started great. First 100 or so chapters, it really pulled me in. But after the Endless Sea arc starts, everything starts going downhill. Still, i kept reading hoping that it would get better, yet after mc reaches the Yang family, it just gets worse and worse. After that i could only keep up to chapter 322 which i just couldn't take it anymore. Author just keeps destroying or changing the characters personality to fit the immediate nerrative. They flip around all the time including mc. Author also destroys his worlds rules all the time. He sets a rule, then comes a person who not only break those previously set rules, he practically sh*ts on them. Mc's ruthlessness that we have seen at the start is nowhere to be found anymore. Harem, or if i can even call it that, got too annoying. Mc is like a lover boy going after a single girl, but he is also lusting after others at the same time, yet taking no action whatsoever. They serve no purpose and honestly characters are just so bland. This novel is indeed very bland and quite honestly really annoying to read. I was expecting something good, then it turned into something avarage and lastly it just turned into a chore to read. Sad really, feels like author got lost very quickly. This novel had alot of potential, very unfortunate that author couldn't follow up...

Really boring novel overall. The characters are forgettable, the Mc is not really a "GOS", the world building is not interesting, i found myself sighing and skimming through chapters a lot. I expected an average novel with some fun fighting and that's all, yet the fighting is lame and the powers of the MC are underwhelming. I was amazed because I came with little expectations and still got disappointed hahaha

When you start censoring the original everything it stands for is lost.

So now i have dropped this and will rather find and read some MTL then read some censored crap

This novel is the definition of “if you’ve seen it once you’ve it a million times”. There’s so little originality that it’s honestly shocking how it’s so popular on here. The only logical explanation is that the people who can read this and actively enjoy it are people who have barely read any chinese LN, maybe like 3 or 5 tops. The cliches are so rampant in this novel even I feel second hand embarrassment for the author. It’s literally one of the most predictable novels I have ever read. If you think something is gonna happen then it definitely will. Idk how this could have even been fun to write? He has added literally NOTHING new or original. NOTHING! If you think another arc where the Mc has to hide his identity is coming then guess what your correct! If you think a time skip is coming than guess what, you won’t be disappointed! It’s honestly sad that this novel gets so much attention when actual original content doesn’t. He couldn’t even break the 3 year time skip limit that most of these LN authors seem to keep as a standard lool. If your looking for unoriginality, boring side characters, boring plot, and overall disappointment than look no further “God of slaughter” is the LN for you!

I'm done reading this book, yes my overall rating is 5 stars, but reading new chapters is just too costly. Think about 1k people spend average of 11 spirit stones (requirements) = 11000 spirit stones divide that by 50 spirit stone ( $1 = 50 spirit stones) and the translator makes $220, mind you the translator isn't writing  the book but " translating". Isn't it just to damn much for charging us translated chapters? I know people have to earn money to eat and live but isn't it to much for the work the translator put in? Why the readers getting screwed. Think about long term gain instead of short term gain. If it was 5 spirit stones per chapter I wouldn't give a second glance before I drop 5 spirit stones. Not sure how many people are reading this but I would say average 5k people, so $220 X 5k people so that's around $1.1k the translator and the app makes, I'm not sure how much % the translator gets but it's enough to put food on the table and roof over my head.

I highly recommande to change the name to "a puppy's harem", i'm truly despointed in how the MC personality develope ( became more & more stupid ) and what's more infuriating is how the autor keep inserting girls here and there without an reasonable sense. i'm currently at chapter 1030 and seriously i'm despointed.

Truly deserve 5 star. Ignore all those who give negative comment, they just can bear the brutal way of our mc. The story is getting more interesting when he arrive at Endless sea and soon in Chaosm Battlefield and got more inheritance .
Soon u will realize the potential of this story.
I have read till chp 100+, after reading negative review ,, i almost stop reading (fu(k them)
Fortunately a week later i decide to resume
And guess what?...
This story actually good and i dare to said that u will not regret after start reading this book
