I like this novel I really do but he needs to have some balls against his sister its just a little annoying when he keeps on backing down like a beta.

To all those readers who feel that the act of cooking, and washing dishes is an act of a beta mc, I'm afraid that this story may not be up to your taste.

And could I please understand what your definition of beta mc is? Because I truly feel that our thoughts about this is a world of a difference apart.

I personally hate the concept of a beta mc.
For example, cases where a female character acts high and mighty in front of the mc, while ordering the mc to do things that is not beneficial to him.
And the mc follows the instructions like a loyal dog.

Yeah, I get it. I made two small scenes where the mc didn't want to wash his own dishes, or cook, but because of his sister's words, he followed through with it.

Does this mean that he is now a beta mc?
I don't know what you think, but in my personal opinion, regarding such small little matters, it doesn't even make a difference.

Cooking and washing your own dishes are normal everyday stuff. Doing them won't kill anybody.

But I understand that everyone have different thoughts and ideas, and some may be a bit too sensitive towards the topic of 'beta mc'.

Or maybe you may argue that it is not the scale of his act that counts, but rather because he listens to his sister's every word.

And you may also notice that in the later parts of the story, other than these two scenes, this case does not happen anymore.

Honestly, I only wrote those two scenes as a joke, but I didn't expect that some readers would have such an adverse, immense reaction towards it

Just thought about a rough idea today, and decided to try writing this.

To me, it's a form of practice, where I'll be able to freely express all the adjectives and descriptions that I had just learned.

And of course, I'm going to give myself 5 stars :)

mc is not lazy and hardworking and he is doing his best

though i wish in the future that the mc will make the biggest investment company there is

It started good, but as it goes on the story just plainly went downhill after him having money with his cheat the inconsistency of the mc and also his sister's character is very noticeable. It was introduced that the MC has strong will and drive due to him and her sister growing up as orphans as well as her sister being a considerate person. It just went downhill that after the MC got ample money he just became a beta MC being subjected to the whims of her sister which also became spoiled. Nevertheless it was such a good story but the character development is just.... well whatever good luck
