MC's initialisation gift [from the system] is enough for him to advance to the next cultivation stage. The bonus reward for attaining the next stage is...enough points to advance to the stage after. Oh, and upon advancing each stage the MC will also conveniently be gifted everything he needs. From the very best cultivation manual, alchemy production, weapon crafting, and of course can't forget apex combat skills.
If all of this wasn't enough the protagonist is a complete rock. He feels nothing. He believes in nothing. He wants for nothing. He just cultivates.
On to the actual review. The only somewhat interesting thing here is the setting with the whole digitized thing. Story development is awful IMO mainly because MC doesn't actually have any goal or anything, he just roams around and he claims he wants to max out every realm but he doesn't really do that or again, puts any effort into anything at all. So MC goes with the flow, Character design is pretty garbage but I can't say I expect anything in this category these days. Shouting skill names before using them is cringe, a lot of inconsistencies with the values. What's the point of having accurate attributes like 5000 strength and the likes when even if MC has strength at the peak of a realm he apparently still has to waste time on someone that's just about the breakthrough the early stage? The answer is there is no point and it's just stalling on minor enemies. There are just so many inconsistencies, in general, it really seems like a sketch. Like that time he said it's extremely rare or close to impossible for someone to break through to the 3rd realm in 100 days but this random girl/ MC's previous best friend (
To give an example, the MC runs around murdering hundreds of spirit animals to the point that there aren't anymore in a large area and earns millions for doing it. Yet somehow, none of the other powerful cultivators (say the hundreds/thousands of them that are a stage above him) think to do the same because...video game logic.
The translation isn't the worst I have seen on Webnovel but it is bad. The numbers on the MCs stat page are regularly wrong, numbers rarely add properly, sentences are horrible to read at times and so on.
The MC is ... not good. He has no issues killing monsters or people as soon as he sees them because ... I have no idea. He has no training for it but somehow he is just a murderhobo from day 1. He also does a ton of dumb things that are typical xanxia MC which make so much less sense in this world. His only friends are beautiful young women. I could go on but it isn't good.
I really can't recommend this one.
