To the reviewer who penned those thoughts, I'm unsure about your comment regarding a light read, as I found myself emotionally invested more than once. Allow me to express my gratitude to the author for sharing their imaginative work. Your book was an engaging read, and this is my second time leaving a review, so if you ever come across this, I'd like to extend my sincere thanks.

In general, the story captivated me from the beginning. When I first delved into the novel, I was passively reading, letting the narrative unfold. It started off slightly confusing, with the soul transfer not clearly explained initially, but it became clearer later on. Despite the translation challenges, the writing quality shone through.

Each character in this story stands out with their distinct personalities. They're not unique in the traditional sense, but they leave a lasting impression. You'll find yourself empathizing and sometimes disagreeing with their actions and decisions. The male protagonist, in particular, was intriguing, as he wasn't the typical calm lead – his reckless nature added depth to the story.

The female lead appeared composed, but her backstory was revealed to be far from the glamorous life one might assume for the wealthy. Her struggles were genuine, and it was inspiring to see her navigate life with purpose, not just survival. Her emotional growth throughout the story was commendable.

The male lead's unwavering affection for the female lead, despite her physical transformation, showcased a unique connection. Old Master Fang's character development was a highlight, as his initial rigidity evolved into a softer, caring side, particularly towards his granddaughter. His interactions tugged at the heartstrings, evoking strong emotions in readers.

Lady Fang's character, though initially unlikable, grew on me as I understood her motivations. Her choices in the past life led to regret, and she could have made better decisions. Tao Cen's character, initially a potential obstacle, was complex, reflecting human struggles with jealousy and the fear of losing one's position.

While there were memorable supporting characters, I focused on the main ones here. For those who might not enjoy the genre or the story's rating, I won't push it. However, I encourage you to give it a chance if the opportunity arises. Remember, ratings don't always define a book's quality, and personal enjoyment varies. Give it a try and form your own opinion.
