113 chapters in & I'm enjoying this story very much. The attention to detail while also not resorting to infodumps is refreshing. Eager to see where the story leads.

    Hey everyone.
This will be a detailed review, in hopes that it would give you the push to read the novel.
    Written at ch. 110

As a reader of the author's previous and first novel, Tale of the Void Emperor, I have to say, I am very impressed. The author's first novel is very unique in its own sense, however, it had mistakes in the beginning due to being author's first novel, later on, you would rarely see such mistakes.

I took too long saying unnecessary things, but for me, I hsd to say those things because this novel actually has, in my humble opinion, more potential than the previous one.
The idea is very unique, the power system is very well-written, not only that, but the writing style from chapter 1 to latest is very consistent with little to no mistakes at all.

The MC, Aren, is a normal human being, not someone with future memories or anything, he's someone who has a goal of overcoming the disaster so that he would be able to live peacefully. He's not lame, he's smart, calculative, and above all, has a clear goal in his mind.

As for the world building and side characters, author did a pretty good job, he didn't do any info dumping, but introduced everything once it appeared, explaining it in a way that wouldn't bore the reader. The side characters are given their own time to grow not like other novels where MC meets friends and they are thrown in the background and forgotten. There aren't a lot of them introduced right now since (Spoiler)...

Author is currently updating at a rate of 1/day, however, he's planning to increase that soon.

Finally, the novel isn't filled with a lot of fillers, other than first 10 or 20 chapters since author had to do some world building.
    ------
Anyways, this is it for my review, hope I didn't take long.

So the world is heading for an apocalypse in 3 yrs and everyone on earth has the option to enter another world and get stronger.  It's not a new concept, but that doesn't really matter.  The story itself is alright, if you are into gamer stories with lots of screens and numbers,  Good writing quality and update schedule too.  The main problems of this story is the way it is currently structured.  There isn't really an engaging plot.  Like the main goal is just to get stronger, and going into different dungeons or opportunities to get stronger.  That's it.  There's no overarching plot in the Otherworld.  It's just to kill monsters, earn money and level up, and repeat.  He isn't solving problems that help people of the other world or anything.  He just appears to be amassing strength the entire time.  Also feels like the author sometimes falls into that pitfall, where the MC is the only one with good ideas and carries everyone else.  Story has a lot of potential, but the author needs to work harder to make them happen.

Written at chapter 126: Honestly, this novel so far is very VERY good. Practically all aspects blend together perfectly and leave me wanting more chapters. The power system is unique with extremely interesting and cool abilities and the world itself has a lot of potential for expansion. The MC is a really nice blend of emotional and logical, although there are 1 or 2 situtations where I’m like ‘wtf’, they serve to make him more relatable. I would give this novel a 4.8 currently. Now, one may ask, why not a 5/5? It’s due to a pet peeve of mine, and also the only thing I have found to dislike so far to the point of annoyance. It is how puppet-like the MC gets treated by the higher existences. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t necessarily take away from the story or ruin the reading experience from what I’ve read so far…it’s simply annoying. If they don’t want him to make a certain decision, they will quite literally force him do something else and he, quite literally cannot do anything about it lol. I can’t into detail without spoiling some things but it’ just something I dislike personally, nothing too big. It’s happened a few times so far and they led to cool/interesting things so I won’t complain too much

This book is like an mmorpg but in real life with high stakes like death,in this story we follow a young talented kid named aren who goes in as a person in poverty but quickly excels in the new world he is in where he fights monsters and does quests to level up,in most mmo style games youll chose a class but in this everyone gets to choose from three paths that were chosen because they were suitable for the person every path is unique so you wont find two people with the same abilities i could go on but we would be getting into spoiler territory if I did so ill stop here thank you for reading.
