This is scheming and conspiracies, darling, sorry to disappoint. I also stay away from reading the updates when I'm not in my right mind, else I won't get it too haha 😵maybe u just also need the right mood and day to read this type of story.
Again, girly shoujo manga isn't really my favorite genre, so out of the four one-shots, I only read the first one.
Story: 7/10
The story is quite refreshing and features a surprisingly innovative plot. Unfortunately, it's let down by an extremely rushed ending on the last few pages.
Art: 6/10
This is pretty much textbook slightly above-average shoujo art. There's not much more to say about it.
Characters: 7/10
I might be overrating this, but the main characters feel well-suited to the quirky plot and seem to fit perfectly into their universe. However, there are too many secondary characters who are terribly underdeveloped yet play roles that are disproportionately significant in the overall narrative.
Overall (7/10) and conclusion:
A one-shot that's primarily carried by its inventive plot and occasionally engaging characters. If you're into shoujo and looking for something different from the usual tropes, it's worth giving it a try.
First story: Since I don't really read romance manga, I think it's interesting how it flips the usual scenario – it's about a guy who has feelings for a girl and is patient enough to wait.
Second story: If you're looking for a sweet and adorable ending, this manga delivers just that.
