WRITING QUALITY:-This category for Orginal Authors can especially can fluctuate between god awful and on par with long-time established authors like "Cocooned Cow" who wrote True Martial World and "Jing Wu Hen" who wrote Ancient Godly Monarch. This particular author has done in my opinion a reasonable job in providing quality writing to us readers. I don't find myself looking back to understand what I read be it from poor grammar or structure. So I give it a 5.STABILITY OF UPDATES:-This category I'm not sure about. I find looking at the weekly chapters update with it being at least once a day. So I give it a 5.STORY DEVELOPMENT:-What is proper SD? To put it simply it's the expansion of the world the characters live in through a linear plot. Some flashbacks here and there but overall going from Point A to B. For Fantasy especially Eastern it's necessary to show where the MC is, in contrast, the different realms he may explore. The plot if done right develops well-rounded characters, introduces background into the world, and takes you on a journey to ends known only to the author.-This story has gripped me so far. The separating and reuniting of loved ones. The schemes of the various enemies vying to get what the MC has. With each new plot development like his sister leaving, his wife being sealed, etc expand the story's reach. I want to see over that next hill on the horizon thanks to the quality development.CHARACTER DESIGN:-What is CD?  A Common Example for these types of books is when the MC is forced to face the reality of needing to kill. This transition into a cultivator is an intricate part of designing a character. -I find this character development to be fascinating. Going from a simple boy who wanted to take care of his little sister, faced with the ugliness of the cultivation world, and given an opportunity to protect himself and those closest to him through... Steeling? At face value, the MC leans towards being a lighter side, however his powets are dark in nature. That's what makes this MC unique. A compassionate man who learns to be ruthless using the power of darkness to steal from those who had it coming. Anyone whos read or watched Robin Hood gets a similar vibe. While he dosent consider himself a hero or saint his actions towards those who bear no ill will are of benavolence which I especially like. -It looks to me like this 1st Mortal Heaven is for laying a solid foundation not only in cultivation but also in cultivating his Theifs character.-The people so far be lovers, friends, or enemies have all served a pivotal role in helping the MC develop to where he and will be. I would rate this higher than 5 but I can't so 5 will do.-Specifaclly his enemies have shown to aid in the MCs development while the women have kept his warmth alive. I look forward to how him and the lil sis will develop, however considering the distance its going to be a while which I'm fine with.WORLD BACKGROUND:-So far the 1st Mortal Heaven has been unfolding at a reasonable pace. We dont need to know too much about the other contitents so keeping that a mystery is good. While the low land and the many higher lands are becoming cleaer as the MC cultivates. As long as the mystery and reveal are done tastefully I look forward to the greater world ahead.Overall: 5/5.
