I am really enjoying this new book! The MC doesn't have some ridiculous nonsense cheat, that instantly gives him everything he needs or provides plot armour. Rather he has only one advantage (immortality) and has to work hard and take things patiently in order to rise to the top.Story building is good, and the pace is perfect. Not much is currently known about the world, but in a good/mysterious way.However my only issue with this novel is the grammar quality, the names are often spelt differently in the same chapter. It's annoying, and there are some other small grammatical mistakes. A simple proofread would fix this issue! Overall, excellent book and I hope it gets picked!
This is one of many Pokemon-esque series where an MC randomly transmigrates to a parallel world and has OP pet-identifying abilities for no reason other than the author said so.The MC is an adult who transmigrated into a teenager's body in a world similar to his, but they have magical pets and monsters. The transmigration adds nothing to the story, and the MC fits in as easily as if he spent his whole life there. He doesn't have any incongruencies to struggle through, so the transmigration is a pointless feature that could have been left out altogether. It doesn't contribute to the plot at all.The MC is a mature, intelligent, hard-worker. He hasn't shown any character flaws so far, and he hasn't had any character or personality development in the free chapters. It is nice that he has a family, even though no one is shown to have any depth to their character designs either. Weirdly enough, although the MC claims to have no interest in beauty, the writer undermines this by giving him a pet that will eventually evolve into one called "Limitless Beauty" and eventually "God of Beauty."The MC has an OP ability and an OP teacher and an OP resource and etc. From the very beginning. It looks like he's going to become overwhelmingly OP quickly.The pets train and evolve like pokemon as they grow stronger. Even their attacks have the same names as those used in pokemon. I love monster evolution, so it's fine with me. There are a limit to how many pets a person can have, so each one is precious.HOWEVER, these pets are referred to as "it" rather than he/she, even when the gender is known. Furthermore, the translation team eventually stops from referring to the lowest ranking pets as "servants" and calls them "s*aves, " which has a completely different connotation in English. There are also many other odd nuances that don't work well in English and distract readers from the narrative.The action isn't vivid and lacks details, so it doesn't give me any adrenaline rush. It's just not exciting. That said, the fast pace of the writing can keep it going for awhile. Unfortunately, the writing quality just isn't enough to do much more than that. Where's the conflict the MC is struggling with? Oh, there isn't one. How did the development and culture in this place differ from our world? What about the technology? Oh, it's all the same. Are there people capable of taking on the MC in the future? No, it doesn't look that way.This series is interesting and would have potential if it were reworked with a focus on character depth and development with world-building. At the level of the free chapters, though, I only see it as being good for a free casual read.
Read until the latest volume ~I'm gonna give reviewI love all the characters and personality of his disciple1st disciple - Stubborn, OP similar strength with 2nd disciple, both a rival due to weilding different weapon "saber & sword" and claim their weapon choice is the best, sect master with great personality, dependable senior brother, had unique race2nd disciple - Stubborn, arrogant to the core but backup with his OPness, sword freak, always fighting and improving his skilss, his personality very sarcastic and at the same time down to earth 😂, his rivalry with his senior brother always entertaining bickering and comparing who is weak eh [while his senior required material to ascend higher cultivation, he sarcastically compare to his senior brother that he do not need help from external or his master to ascend 😂]3rd disciple - Strong, simple minded, always training and fearless. good senior brother and always listen to his master, his character more like a balance to all the other character seems more normal compare to other character, he weild spear and loves his spear when gifted by his master.4th disciple - cunning, loves playing around, smart, always get bullied by his senior brother for training, he weild scabbard? not sure what kind of weapon probably sword with scabbard, reliable disciple5th disciple - She, not genius in cultivation but above average, she have background history related to imperial, not much of impact her in the novel probably just to balance things out the story6th disciple - she, strong, just below his senior brother in term of cultivation, she had amorus hoop I forgot the weapon type, she betray his master and get captured by his master due to misunderstood of her history, she pretty responsible to her action (basically all mc disciple are good nature just going astray due to prev master teaching), has unique race7th disciple - Smart, calculative, information brain, loves to think, he think he is the smartest but he was destroyed when modern math? or add math was introduce to him causing him to have restless night to solve it 😂, not as strong as his senior brother but he got brain8th disciple - this disciple is a troll, funny and thick skin, loves to flattered his master and his skill in flattering is very exceptional, not genius but he is average in cultivation due to specific cultivation he only can do, very interesting character9th disciple - She, Genius, she is one of the fastest cultivation to achieve high realm, mc fond of her, very refreshing character, always want to kill people but over the time she was deconditioned to think other perspective rather than solve every problem in killing, funny character and likeable10th disciple - she, genius cultivator, different from her other senior brother and sister ( future chapter will reveal her birth ), she weild a flute? more like sound and controlling beast power, she and 9th disciple always hang out together, very quiet person due to her lost memoryMC - very op, one shot everyone but after he recover his cultivation he is much more relying himself compare to system, I like his character, mature and think out of box when he still not strong enough, loves his interaction between his disciple, the teaching of the way of sword is interesting for me as he has a lot of expstory very well done the slowly progress to new arc where there are new realm diffrent from mc sect since he already defeated all the strongest existence in mc place. love it for Grammer I have no problem it's fine for me maybe some mistypo here and there but since my Grammer also trash I have no right to complain 😂overall I'm unsatisfied since it moving to new arc where there are new realm to be explore and it getting good madefaker if I can kidnap the author to write the novel fast like 10 chapter per day I will gladly but since its very likely I can do that I just patiently wait till then huhuhu
Story great from the start gives minimum background of the world and the character get a great character development as the story progresses. Only draw back is that after some 300 chapters you can't read the novel as it's full of grammatical error as it useless as we can't get the content of the story from that. Other than that it's a good story.
This work is made by The Plagiarist, the author who has to date only copied other works premise and made it better. This novel was inspired by Lord of the Mysteries. It does have a system and I get hints of Way of the Devil or Mystical Journey vibes for the cheat. Let’s just be real here, it’s by The Plagiarist. It will be good, quit wasting your time here and start spending $$$ to get it releases quicker.
