Names are the last thing to think about as I hear the rustling behind me. A creature crawling along the ground chasing me. I try ducking in and out of some bushes, causing small scratches to appear on the part of my body not protected by my short sleeve top and cargo shorts but the adrenaline keeps me going without even noticing the pain.
When Ria started crying, Iris had been equally as worried but she trusted Ryker and knew she could leave the situation to him while she looked after the children. She had noticed early on that the surrounding staff and a few others had been watching but couldn't bare to interrupt their moment. It was only after she was positive that Ria was alright that she allowed herself to calm down and began to tease them on their public display of affection.
I glanced around, only three guys left. "Jesus I don't have time for this." I rubbed my forehead and decided it would be easier if I shifted. The sound of my bones and my ribs shifting, my nose shifting into my wolfs nuzzle, my fingers shifting into paws. Yes, it hurt. My bones are shifting but I also feel so free in my wolf form. I'm not big but I'm not small either. My fur is a rusty red with patches of white and I have a white patch on my left eye. Just because of my fire elemental side.
"After all, my little baby is growing up so fast . . . Oh, soon you'll enter your angsty teen stage . . . and the boyfriend sneaking into your room while we're away! I'm getting white hairs just thinking about it!"
There are only a few chapters for now yet the book is quite promising. The fight scenes are all well-written and I really like that the author was able to put some challenges to develop the MC even though the MC is overpowered or destined to be one. Also, the author specified how the MC will get his Harem. That's nice I think. Keep writing and upload more chapters, author.
