For me, these "Dao discussions" hurts this novel because it shows how shallow the novel is. How could the Mc be the only one "teaching" wisdom specially in an arrogant manner? It would have been better if it was like a real talk between scholars exchanging of knowledge, and not one sided "look how the Mc is smart."
