A manga adaptation script seems to be gaining popularity in recent Japanese light novels, unfortunately. The format lacks visuals, featuring brief chapters devoid of descriptions. Battles are conveyed through single lines, with the narrative relying heavily on dialogue, internal thoughts, and exposition. The author appears to assume the illustrator will handle the visual aspects like character appearances, emotions, settings, and actions, pushing the "light" aspect too far.

Without the accompanying illustrations from a manga, crucial context is lost, making the storytelling fragmented and disconnected. As with many such works, true enjoyment is difficult, if not impossible. However, there are some redeeming qualities, like the intriguing premise and the protagonist, plus mecha elements that hold personal appeal. In conclusion, my recommendation remains the same: hold out for the manga adaptation, as the novel format falls short.

Haha, it's quite amusing actually. The novel seems to heavily focus on mecha and otome game elements, investing a lot in those aspects, but the plot feels somewhat薄弱. I might revisit it later when more translations become available, and I must say, the translation quality is commendable so far.

I really enjoy this! The author ingeniously subverted the stereotype by having the main character NOT participate in the game. She assumes she knows everything due to her familiarity with the clichéd tropes, but she can't even identify the characters or their roles in the story, which creates a hilarious situation. It's like someone who hasn't read a "Sherlock Holmes" book trying to assist Sherlock in solving a case based on popular references alone. Although this might be a side story set in an "Otome" genre, which I happen to appreciate, it showcases the author's knack for humor in tone and pacing.

If you're a fan of the "Otome" genre, this story has potential to tickle your funny bone. However, I'll reserve my ratings until it progresses further; 10 chapters is too early to judge.
