I liked the historical power system and how the MC plays his advantage of a transmigrated historian/archeologist from the origial Earth. The characters are likable and honestly the whole mystery looming on the cult and doomsday arc is exciting. However due to the poor translation, it became really annoying to read this one. At first i overlooked it hoping that it just a temporary thing, but later on it got worst and it became taxing to keep up with the story. Just the gender of the pronouns were left as female for all character and the unmarked dialog makes youe veins pop.
An interesting book, but sometimes incomprehensible, what the author wanted to say by some kind of action. The characters are written well, but the world as a whole is incomprehensible, and there is no clearly expressed plot.
How should I say this, I enjoy the early chapters as it feel better in structure and goals despite a lot of plot holes. There are a lot of grammar error especially the "you, you are, your" family, it did not bother me that much as I'm non native english speaker but I need to call the author about it so he can improve his writting. The world background let say vague at best, there is not a lot being told or explain. There are some good and famous areas being told but not in great detail either. The characters design are rather bland with a little bit of interesting twist, but they are all pretty much did not have good development. The creatures so far are pretty much forgotten, like how the zombies can evolve but MC only evolve the dog -> wolf and that's it, nothing else. So the variety is extremely lacking. The story was thrown down the drain, I feel like there are a lot of unexplain time skip like how the MC all of sudden control pretty much most of the world within few days. How there is no opposition at all and how the author only touch minor characters that will change nothing for the fate of the world.Overall, I enjoy my time reading it but the flaws are obliviously as long as I use a little bit of brain power. Interesting idea, messy excecution.Note : I don't know if I want to continue reading this or not as the longer it goes, the less excited I got.
It was good for a while until it was shown that they unconditionally believed that guy (adventurer guy. Not the MC) no matter what. Which was rather infuriating to read. The only reason that was stated for this was that he was young and the other guy was good at exploring. As the MC was on the team they should have given him the benefit of the doubt atleast. Except for that its pretty good. I hope this arc ends soon though its been going on for a while.
Y'know, as a woman I love a good story. As myself I love video games. This books really compliments and balances both aspects! I've enjoyed understanding the characters and reading the plot. I look forward to reading more~
