The character interactions, the drama and more importantly the satisfying resolutions, the MC is not generic, but normal. He has a personality, but he isn't ridiculous either.

The story is very compelling and refreshingly new. The plot progresses at a good pace and the tension is great, hooking you in for the next chapter. It doesn't beat around the bush or rely on infodumps, it doesn't insult your intelligence nor try your patience. In short: a very well written novel.
The characters are well written with diverse and interesting personalities. They undergo development too. His classmates are also very nice people who have thier own problems. They encourage and support each other, help them solve their problems. It feels nice to have someone to talk to and cheer you on, right? The interactions between characters is also nice to read.
The novel is so unapologetically fast and tight with its writing. Constantly moving, wants to show more and it never felt rushed. This flow state is addictive and just like that, you're chapters deep and you haven't noticed. You'll root for the characters, trust me.
Actually Good, it's been a long time since I got interested in a novel. Nevertheless it's actually an interesting read, I really needed a break from those braindead fantasy novels and Edgelord MCs.

The Main Character is smart and capable. I really like how he looks after his Friends and those he cares about.
MC has a good character profile, he's not that arrogant and he truly has dedication to his work.
The MC learns as he goes and knows not to rest on his laurels. He also shares what he had learned and provides opportunities to those around him.
And the novel has less face-smacking than the usual of the same genre.
