So I am at CH 220. It's a very enjoyable read, and from a game perspective it has more of a MMORPG feel to it then many of the stories out there that take the realism to far making it 'A Second World'. This is a game world, where people do stuff they wouldn't do in real life because they want to have fun and 'play a game'. All while still having stakes, drama, comedy etc. It's a really fun and entertaining story and one of the things I love it the character gallery. The MC is ofc. the MC, but the support gallery is well rounded and get good storylines. Also the people around him have clear personalities, strengths and weaknesses. Also the MC does not monopolise every item and have heaven defying luck. He makes bad choices because he doesn't know everything (the I travelled back in time trope) and because he at the core is a noob gamer. All creating funny and exciting storylines. The more I read the better this gets.
I love this book and the series. It’s like a movie waiting to be shot with the way the stories are going. I really love the development in the author’s writing from the first book til now. I really love Nadine’s strength. I love how Xander is deeply rooted in his values. Must read!!!!
This book makes me giddy! “Ladybugs everywhere!” -Under the Tuscan Sun- lol. Thank you for this, I hope it doesn’t break my heart into a million pieces like the first two! But if it does I know it’ll be worth it. :)
