I think they mean yet another novel (this one) had speed as main power. Like maybe they've read a lot of them in the past?

could anyone give me tips on how to understand the story for every novel? like ive tried reading the earth is online but my patience is not really that good. But i normally read physical books with a lot of chapters

It took me a few hours to read this while skimming boring stuff. It was very fun. I will be back when the author makes a new novel.

then drop it if you don't have the patience to go through its not like someone is forcing you to do it
