As Christie stirred in her sister's husband's bed, she examined the painful marks on her skin – the bruises and hickies. Her gaze met the striking man who was responsible for them, disbelief and anger evident in her voice, "Did you bring me here to hurt me, you bastard?" The man raised an eyebrow, his grip tightening on her chin. "Why would I do such a thing? Don't you recall texting me to meet here?" he questioned, confusion lacing his tone. "I...I couldn't have done that to my own sister," Christie cried out, tears welling up in her eyes. "I must've been drunk! But how did we end up like this? You took my innocence last night." The man, unrepentant, whispered sinisterly, "What else could it be? Revenge, for betraying your ex with me. Imagine the thrill of fathering a child from your past lover. And don't even think about terminating the pregnancy," he warned, his threat hanging heavily in the air. "No! You're my brother-in-law!" Christie exclaimed, shock and horror coloring her words.
