Indeed. Its such a turn off for me when there is gore and mc t*rt*r* for absolutely no reason other than just to make the mc be evil.

Its as if authors dont want to waste time on the setuo and get into the point. So they end up just coming with silly gore.

"So yeah. Their evil. They tortur him and now he becomes revenge boi."

Well, that was a blast, but shame the author dropped it for a more profitable series. Hopefully it sees a continuation one day, because it's genuinely one of the better written stories on this site.
