Oh boy, this novel... Let me just start by saying that it takes over 2000 chapters for the main plot to slightly start to develop. That in itself already tells you how the author writes, he basically keeps everything a "mystery", going so far as to sometimes keep what the *main character saw himself* as a "mystery" to the reader by not writing what he god d*mn saw.
I have too many bad things to write about the novel but I won't. Honestly, I won't because there's one thing that is good which is the combat, and the novel does get better after 1k or so because of wars — if you completely ignore that there should be the main plot somewhere.
Ok I will say one more bad thing: The romance is weird. The world is obviously polygamist, pretty much everyone has a bunch of wives, but the author writes every relationship and the characters thoughts with a monogamy view, which basically makes no sense.
I would still recommend if you can endure 1k chapters of extra garbage until it gets better.
