It's kinda crazy how in spite of the fact that this novel hasn't updated in years, I'm fairly sure I've only seen it drop from the top 10 once or twice (if ever) and right now it's even rank 2. Goes to show just how peak it is though ig 😤🙏
I would've liked this story more if Davis wasn't so reliant on some op item he found and based his entire growth around it 😑
There's also the fact that he schemes way too much, most of the time he's either just scheming and making secret identities or porking his wives rather than cultivating and becoming stronger. Most of his troubles are something he brings upon himself due to his own stupidity and lack of power, and why does he lack power? Because he's busy scheming.
You see? It's a cycle.
Nice story still, my frustrating experiences aside.
